Transform
strength.
Rethink
rehab.

Today’s practitioners are bombarded with information. Information doesn’t equal intelligence.

We start with the end user: functional movements athletes already do, combined with instant information in terms they can understand and act on. That’s intelligence.

From the railyard to rehab

Before co-founding Poseidon Strength, Mark engineered a hydraulic system to soften the impact of freight rail cars coupling together, where there is little room for error. Passionate about fitness, he had a lightbulb moment: a velocity-controlled strength and rehab device.

The result is a durable, robust hydraulic system that attenuates incredible forces while holding a constant speed and storing no energy, in a simple, compact package. It started in a garage, with two founders and a shared dream.

ForceTrain® Technology, in one line

A barbell that can handle 1,500 lb of force production, then hover in place the instant the athlete stops. Durable. Safe. Functional.

Why “Poseidon Strength”?

Poseidon stands for strength and perseverance, and for the mental fight it takes to keep pushing your own limits. It also fits: ForceTrain runs on hydraulic fluid, and Poseidon is god of the sea.

Strength, because no one wants to be injured. Rehab is strength training in the presence of pain, and we fill the gap between rehab and the weight room.
